A message from Chorley BC

I am writing to invite you to our beacon lighting event which is taking place on 6 June to mark the 80th anniversary of D Day, the largest naval, land and air operation in history.

The lighting of beacons on Thursday 6 June 2024 across the country will pay tribute to all those who took part in D-Day, whether as part of the landings or supporting from the United Kingdom.
