With the Christmas online shopping season now in full swing, we are sharing practical advice to help people avoid the risk of being affected by the growing trend of theft of items left unattended by deliver drivers.  

·  If possible track your parcel to ensure that you or someone else is at home for the delivery

·  Enlist a trusted neighbour’s help to pick up parcels as soon as they arrive

·  Arrange for your parcel to be delivered to a relative or friend’s house that you know will be in to take the parcel

·  Use an offsite locker service for frequent deliveries or expensive items, these are generally located in local supermarkets/Amazon lockers for Amazon deliveries or opt for in store pickups

·  Fitting a video doorbell system
